Medical Disclaimer
Last updated: March 27, 2026
Important: Please read this disclaimer carefully before using VitalRx services.
The information provided on this website and through our telehealth platform is for informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding your specific medical situation.
1. Off-Label Prescriptions
Peptide therapies prescribed through VitalRx are compounded medications prescribed off-label by licensed physicians. "Off-label" means the medication is being used in a manner not specifically approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the particular indication being treated.
Off-label prescribing is a legal and common practice in medicine. However, patients should understand that these treatments may not have undergone the same level of clinical testing for their specific use as FDA-approved medications.
2. Compounded Medications
All medications prescribed through VitalRx are compounded by Optimal Balance Pharmacy (OBP), a federally licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are prepared specifically for individual patients based on a physician's prescription.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved products. While the active pharmaceutical ingredients used may be FDA-approved substances, the specific compounded formulation has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality. Each batch undergoes third-party purity and potency testing, with Certificates of Analysis (COA) available upon request.
3. No Guarantee of Results
Individual results from peptide therapy vary significantly based on factors including age, health status, genetics, lifestyle, adherence to protocols, and other variables. Testimonials and case studies on this website reflect individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of similar outcomes.
The clinical claims made on this website are based on published preclinical and clinical research. However, many peptide therapies remain an active area of scientific investigation, and the evidence base continues to evolve.
4. Not a Substitute for Medical Care
VitalRx services are not a substitute for your primary care physician, specialist, or emergency medical care. Our telehealth consultations are specific to the treatment categories we offer and do not constitute a comprehensive medical evaluation.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use VitalRx for emergency medical situations.
5. Physician Oversight
Every VitalRx prescription is reviewed and authorized by a licensed physician. Our clinical protocols are developed and supervised by Dr. Jonathan Snipes, MD, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, who is dual board-certified in Aesthetic Medicine (DAAAM) and Regenerative Medicine (DAMAARM).
A prescription is never guaranteed. Our physicians may decline to prescribe if treatment is not deemed medically appropriate based on your health profile.
6. Risks and Side Effects
All medications, including peptide therapies, carry potential risks and side effects. Common side effects may include injection site reactions (redness, swelling, bruising), headache, nausea, or fatigue. Serious adverse events are rare but possible.
You are responsible for reviewing the risks and side effects discussed during your consultation, following prescribed dosage and administration instructions, and reporting any adverse reactions to your prescribing physician promptly.
7. Educational Content
